| Personal History | Elle Hayashi was born in Tokyo, Japan on Earth in 2360. Much of her early and middle childhood was spent with a desire to help people and with the ideals of healing those around her. She also had interests in the sciences, though she didn't know what she wanted to do until much later in life. Elle eventually fell on the idea of joining Starfleet in the medical field. She was accepted into Starfleet Academy and began medical school in 2378. Elle was able to excel in the field earning multiple awards for having high marks and being near the top of her class. By 2386 she had chosen to complete her medical residency at Starfleet Medical Center. Elle was able to stay with her parents for much of her early career and time in medical school. With top grades and after two years in residency clinic Elle was one of the first from her class to get to pick her next set of orders. Elle found that a science ship would probably fit her the best and was one of ten from her class that had wanted those orders. She was ultimately chosen to fill the role of Chief Medical Officer aboard the Hooke in 2388. |
