The USS Hooke NCC-78685 is an Intrepid-class starship under the command of Captain James Theodore Cohen. The Hooke is part of the United Federation of Planets. She was first launched in 2388 as the first vessel named for famed scientist Robert Hooke. Her primary mission set includes both scientific exploration and diplomatic services for the Federation.
It has been over a decade since the Dominion War, but the scars from that war still exist. In the year 2388 Starfleet has been able to steadily return to scientific exploration and discovery. The Hooke was built with scientific discovery and diplomatic intrigue in mind. These are the adventures of the crew and the ship they call home.
